So I read this when it was on your actual LJ I think, awhile awhile ago.
It made me cry so hard that time and I'm crying just the same reading it again so long after.
It's difficult to describe how completely heartbreaking and beautifully written this is. One of the saddest stories I've read, and it's short too.

-cries- Wah, so sad! Here I love South Italy, and he's all upset. Poor him. I don't think I mix well with angst... I just finished reading two other stories about angst, and now I'm feeling horrible. But it was beautifully written (it had to be, to make me feel sad D:) and I can't help but feel kinda mad at spain. (well, i was sorta mad at him already, because of my spanish teacher, but that's another story XD) Absolutely wonderful!

This story is so beautifully tragic. I feel that this short fic conveys so much emotion: sorrow, pain, love, and angst. The raw pain that Romano must be feeling; to finally give his love to Spain and be rejected in the most painful and heart wrenching way. In so little words i feel these strong and powerful emotions, like a powerful torrent of water breaking through a dam.

A truly powerful story, well written and utterly beautiful!
