hoaauai chapter 1 . 7/13/2016 Please continue the his story |
Panthera Azure chapter 1 . 5/3/2016 Wow... I read this crying along with them, for them, and a little for me and my siblings past. Wondering how many times we might have or HAVE come close to something like this happening to us. (good chunks of my memory missing partly due to a beating, so I don't know if we have. So said event could even be one...) Anyway great job. I'm literally having trouble breaking down in words all the great ways you put this together |
LongRun chapter 1 . 11/18/2010 That was brilliant. It's horrifying how one single moment and acting on impulse can change a person's life irrevocably. Are you planning on continuing this? I would love to know what happens to Don next. I hope he'll grow up to be the man we know and love despite (or maybe due to) the consequences of his actions. |
anne laure chapter 1 . 2/15/2010 Please an other chapter It's a beautiful idea |
seven days later chapter 1 . 12/31/2009 wow, new spin on things! well written though - you made it work. x |
PattyB chapter 1 . 11/27/2009 This is an excellent look at an event that happened in the Eppes family that shouldn't really have happened but does, much too frequently in real life. Bullying should be a crime in itself, but no one seems to get too excited about it until a tragedy follows such as Don has done here, an older or even occasionally a younger brother protecting another brother from the bully. Sorry, I'm on my soapbox here. What I'm trying to say that your story has truly touched me. So many lives can be changed here but I'm hoping for the best. |
Jet44 chapter 1 . 11/27/2009 Wow - intense! Poor Don, what will happen to him? You've caught the emotion and uncertainty in this so well, hope you can post another chapter soon. |
ahuntress chapter 1 . 11/27/2009 I like the short snipets, fast pace, and changing POV. Thank you for this step into the pre-season. |
Mel J1701 chapter 1 . 11/26/2009 This has the makings of a very unique and intriguing story. Time and again we have seen instances in the media and in our own lives of how all it takes is for one mistake to ruin/deviate a person's life. It will be interesting to see what life now holds for poor Don. It would be just like him to do whatever it took to protect Charlie then worry about the consequences later. What I like most about this story is that is also deals with the possible scenarios to the terrible idea that the Eppes parents had of actually thinking it would be good to send Charlie to the same high school as Don. I hope we will see major guilt from them as a large part of the blame lies with them forcing their elder son to have to babysit Charlie even in school. |
