Awesome story!

Great story but you've got Tony apologizing way too much.

Hello there! I was asked on tumblr to recommend a fic that I've read more than 5 times, explain why I'm recommending it, and then send that explanation to the author of that awesome fic. Obviously, I picked this fic, and here's why:

This was the first Tiva fic I ever read, and it’s still my go-to... it’s an absolute BEAST of a fic, the finished story clocking in at more than 250,000 words, ahaha. It’s set post-Somalia at a point where Ziva has a lot of recovering to do, and it does a GREAT job of the slow burn and friends-to-lovers tropes. This fic is like sipping on hot, milky tea in the winter when you’re cosied up under a blanket and lost in daydreams-that is to say, it’s kind and comforting and sweet and familiar in all the right ways. It takes a difficult subject (Ziva’s captivity/torture/I won’t go into more detail but I’m sure you can imagine) and addresses it a little at a time, fixing the absolute disservice that the show did to Ziva by brushing past her trauma. Personally, this is a fic that helped ME heal from trauma of my own, and that... well, it’s a pretty incredible thing for a fic to do!

Thank you for writing this incredible story, and I'm sorry that I've never reviewed it before! HFH has such a dear place in my heart, and you're a masterful storyteller. This story has given me so many hours of happiness!

They should have gotten pregnant! But otherwise this was an awesome story! I just wish it was longer.

This was so hard to read omg. I hated imagining Ziva going through stuff like that while she was being held captive, but it’s not unrealistic and that’s why it was so powerful. Really well written though.

His story would make an excellent Tiva movie. I just didn’t want it to end.

This story is AMAAAZING...Your writing is AMAAAZING. Powerful, funny, fluffy and intellectual. It is not often, when I read, that I read every word because I don't want to miss a single thing. On to the sequel even though it is not complete. Guess family got in the way. BUT thank you for this really enjoyable read.

Read this a second time (after Tony's finale). Enjoyed it. Now for the sequel

You needn't have worried, it's a great chapter. So good, I read the last bit twice. I am enjoying this story and so happy that it is complete and longer than a one shot. I got time on my hands.

This is the BEST wedding I have read so far! I usually don't like reading wedding scenes cuz it gets a little weird sometimes when the other characters are too involved in everything and personally I find it awkward, but this one is amazing! So is the story itself, I have been up reading till 2 in the morning all week cuz I can't put it down.
