Good story :). I'm currently reading a book set after World War II set in an asylum (happy, happy book), with the doctor being an opium addict. And I must say, this story certainly shows the consquences of opium. Wow. Definitely saw the Rasputin resemblance there (another happy imperial family...). He certainly makes a good image for a medicine man. Anyway, good story and I like how you included Ursa in the story, not many people do. And if they do, then it's always ZUKO and Ursa. While, personally, I think Azula is a more complex and interesting character.

Great way to explain Azula's craziness I must say! I really like this, Kelly. It's pretty good. I love your word usage here and there.

Oh, dear. When I read "Rasputin," I immediately thought of haemophilia. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.

Drug abuse in the Fire Nation royal family-what a frightening idea. I thought there was no way Ozai could be made an even worse father, but you definitely pulled it off.

I don't know if this was done on purpose or if you forgot, but Ozai was never Firelord while Ursa was around and when his children were that small-Azulon was still alive. If you made him Firelord on purpose, then just ignore this. :D
