Shivers82 chapter 4 . 7/19 I’ve seen this premise before, but not with a full crew and not in the Voyager timeframe. A great start, but too bad about your muse disappearing. Maybe you’ll get inspired again some day. |
frdbrlw1 chapter 3 . 3/14 suzumiyaharuhi1 Of course the UFP is more advanced in understanding of science they have had 370 years to get there, where as stargate command has barely been operating for 15 years. In that times they have completely reverse engineered hyperspace capable warships capable of taking on goa'uld Ships even before they got asgard tech upgrades. Then in that same time frame the have built 6 ships using only a black budget. Tauri had already managed to build there own hyperdrive design before the asgard Desided to give them theres. To be honest there doing astounding to be able to get that far in such a short amount of time. Give the Tauti the same 370 years to advance there tech and they would easily match the UFP. Also on the matter of Antimatter vs naquda, Antimatter is dangerous as hell and very hard to store stably, whereas naquadria i super stable. |
suzumiyaharuhi1 chapter 3 . 10/20/2019 If you actually think about it, the Tau'ri was quite technologically inferior, they had to rely on this naturally existing magical naquadah mineral to enhance their generators and warheads. So here is a question for all the SG fanboys, if the Tau'ri was more advanced than the UFP, than why didn't they develop antimatter warheads, which pond for pond would be 10 times more powerful than the nuclear warheads, and enhance it with naquadah? Oh right, cause they weren't advanced enough to mass produce antimatter! |
suzumiyaharuhi1 chapter 2 . 10/20/2019 The author got the technological comparison between SG and ST wrong. For one thing, ST sensor technology is unrivalled among all sci-fi shows, so the whole "scanning vs shielding" thing should yield the opposite result. For another, the author over-exaggerated the fire power of SG universe. In DS9:The Die is Cast, ST ships have been shown to be able to destroy an entire planet with only their conventional weaponry, meanwhile SG ships have never been able to accomplish anything like that. |
sg07 chapter 4 . 5/22/2019 Sure wished that you had continued this story. It was really good. It did read really fast so more detail and time added would have been nice. |
Guest chapter 4 . 4/20/2019 Great story,to bad you never finished it.. |
Ghostprogrammer chapter 1 . 3/6/2019 Normally not a fan of crossovers but this got me interested! Shame it's abandoned. |
jacob byram chapter 4 . 11/17/2018 I understand the unfinished state of the story. where do i take it and all that. All i ask is that you write the scene where the federation sees the new ships and goes " ok before they were powerful but no this is just ridiculous". |
Yeager 41 chapter 4 . 9/17/2018 This was a great chapter I hope you continue the story. |
Joe Lawyer chapter 4 . 8/2/2018 This fic has been abandoned for almost a decade but damn if it wasn't going in an interesting direction. It was going to require extreme creativity on a galactic scale so I get the abandonment. It was quite interesting while it lasted. |
JOHN0713 chapter 4 . 4/28/2018 To bad you never finished this it was pretty good. |
