Wow! This was definitely different from what I was expecting and yet so beutifully written. I adore it!

I think most people regret the things theg have done when faced with death, and accepting that is a part of moving on. So i think he probably did. But he's probably spent so long in prision, inside his own head that he's convinced himself he hasnt in order to be forgive in himself and god.

I enjoyed the way you wrote it, i loved the detail and plot, though you still couldnt get Bella to be interesting to me. She's a lost cause. ;) xx

Oh man. I cried a bit here and there. It's been so long since I read Bellard (I really can't remember the ship name) and this kind of hurt.
I think he did it. I think he had to kill the person or someone else he loved and cared about would have died. But at the same time I think he didn't. That he was wrongly accused and Bella felt compassion towards him.
I really enjoyed the reading, great job!

O-M-G, I am really at loss for words right now. I did need tissues, quite many. It's really a beautiful story, even tough the end, but geesh, i really really fell in love with this.

It is written so beautifully, and it's such a strong story. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, that's all I have to say.

Dang...this is a two-tissue story. And as compassionate people I think most would want to believe he did not bludgeon the person. He was such a gentle and kind person so it would be hard to think he did it.

I think, yes he did it though...because really, why on earth would she want to know that he was innocent knowing that he was about to be killed. Its better to know that he is being punished for a crime he committed.

Plus you said that it would have broken her if he were wrongfully accused, I doubt her reaction to a 'no' would have been a single tear.
