This was amazing! How much music means to Dean is just so well written in here and the end line was just beautiful. I loved how Sam notices that the Impala isn't the Impala without some form of music in it (it's true, it's weird when it's quiet :/) and I love how they hug and pick up the cassettes and Dean laughs and...guh :) This was just so, so amazing :) Too good to describe in one review, so well done on making me speechless! :D Thanks for writing this, I loved it :)

I love hurt!Dean stories that let us see just that, cause damned if you hardly ever see it in canon.

I really like it. I'd taken an ASL course a year or two ago, so I know a bit of how difficult it can be to learn it. (No hearing loss, just wanted to be able to talk when I have a sore throat. Like now.)

Sorry it took me so long to make it over to read this. I really enjoyed it. I loved how Bobby reacted to everything, loved the glimpse into the adjustments Sam and Dean have made so they can communicate and hunt together, love the way Sam helped Dean find a way to enjoy music. Most of all, I loved the boys' talk at the end. SO glad they cleared the air and Sam let Dean know he wasn't going anywhere. And that Bobby was determined to learn sign language for Dean.

I'd love to see more of this verse-especially some resolution with John, after he just left Dean there in the hospital after the accident. Sam needs to read him the riot act for that. I'd also like to see the boys hunting together now.

This was my favorite line: "And now it was Sam's turn to laugh as he got out of the car and helped his brother pick up the pieces of his life." Great analogy, great line.

I admit, I'm a sucker for Hurt!Dean stories, and this one is quite well written. Brotherly banter! Understanding Sam! I just love the bond between the two, which made me sad in S4. Sorry for the incoherency, but I would like more little one-shots like this. And huggy hugs! Nothing's better than Winchesters hugging.
