Excellent. The characterisation was great, and it didn't shoehorn itself into the canon too aggressively. And I'm all choked up now.

The things you find when you're just browsing... Wow, this was a really lovely story. My eyes were getting all misted up. Very well written and descriptive. I could actually see the characters doing this. Great job on filling in the blanks.

Awww. Sad. Still, well-written, none the less. Not too sappy, not too silly, and most of all, not too presumptuous. Somehow, I shy away from the "Snake goes on a new mission- but Big Boss is -BACK!-" kind of 'fics, mainly because I think the authors might be biting off more than they can chew- of course, I could be wrong. That's why I like little 'One Shots' (such as this one) that can be slipped inbetween the cracks of a particular theme. In any case, keep up the good work- I wouldn't mind reading more MGS stuff by you :)

that was one of my faveroite parts on mgs2 and that was a good fan fic of what happend when raiden had to run Otacon i feel bad and that bird dident help but make him feel bad

Wow! I so love you. I love this. It was wonderful. I am suppose to be in the classroom listening to a review of the final, but I stayed in the PC lab to finish this!

2 little things I noticed (as an anal jerk) Emma and Otacon are not blood related at all. Though you may have just said that to be symbolic. I'm nitpicky. And Emma had helped set the computer up for the insertion of the virus. That was why they needed her. When Raiden comes in Snake says "Emma set everything up." I think. Leading me to believe Otacon and Emma didn't have much time to talk before Raiden got there. But it was a wonderful story and you shouldn't pay attention to my anal retentive self. _ I LOVED IT! Very moving.
