I think you deserve more compliments. This story is really great ! And the way you lead it to the end was awesome ! We almost forget that there are a lot of orphans in this manga...

I'm left speechless...it was a beautiful one-shot that showed the darker side few people seem to look at when they read or write Naruto stories- most focus on the "people can walk on walls and breathe fire! Sweet!" aspect of Naruto. I like how you've written this, especially with the "nice going, hero" remark-really drives the point home.

there's only one I wasn't able to figure out and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me- "the shy little black-haired boy; the one who saw his parents die right before him, all because of the strange black rings in his eyes" I figured out the other ones but I just can't think of this one...

It takes a lot to get me to cry. I've never cried over a fanfiction before. Thank you :) This oneshot... was a first, to say the least. It really moved me. I haven't read a story like that in a long, long time so I guess I should thank you... For writing something like that. It really was something I-I dunno, needed, maybe? I almost didn't read your story because I was busy looking for another story, but I'm so very glad I did. I have to say that the way the story is written out and the words used fit beautifully together. It's the first story in a long time that's sent chills down my spine, and for that I thank you. I love how you included multiple orphans and not just the regular Naruto and Sasuke. You included the others, Garra, Kakashi, Haku, Sasori, even Neji, they're often forgotten in stories that talk about orphans.

I do have a question though, who is the shy little black haired boy? I thought it was Sasuke, but he would fit better with the black haired child burdened with ideas of revenge. Could you enlighten me?
