So, I don't know if you check your mail anymore or are still writing but I wanted to let you know that this is absolutely my favorite RK fic ever! I first read it a LONG, LONG time ago but did not appreciate all the details you put into this - all the dark aspects and how you dealt with Kaoru getting over her rape.

Then, earlier this year, I came back to fanfiction and was rereading the RK fics out there and this just blew me away. I loved the detail you put into this and KenKao's slow romance. How Kenshin doesn't know what love is so he has to learn and how Kaoru is traumatized by her past and needs to learn to trust Kenshin. It was just so beautifully done. I also really, really loved possessive, dark Kenshin.

You know, I found this story years ago before it was completed and I did not favorite or save it nor could I remember the name. To stumble upon it again on a whim to read some RK fanfics to relive the old days is both hilarious and lucky. So great to finally see the end to this amazing story.

This is the third time I have read this stoey in thw last year or two. It always makes me so happy. it makes me squeal in happiess, blush/hide my face in imbarassment(for the characters) it just sends me to my happy place. Thank you! it is rare to find a fanfic I enjoy readung repeatedly! i love love love the twists and tur s and intracacies! I love Koarus spark! Kenshins Possesiveness and transitions into comapassion and care. I love the ending. i love it!
