Well, now that I'm all caught up, I have to say there are a lot of interesting twists here. Let's see if I can go through them all and give my feedback for each.

The first one, where Reala wakes up to find that Kyle is alive but is replaced with Farah, I think this can be worked to the advantage of both sides. For Destiny, this means they have a new fighter in their group, while for Eternia it means Reala can help figure out a way to bring them back together. You have to remember that Farah is kind of hard-headed and bossy every now and then, so creating a bit of tension between her and the Destiny characters, especially Nanaly, who is probably equally as stubborn as Farah.

The next twist is of Kyle being captured and accused of treason for not wearing a choker. I'm not sure how Inferians view people of their world using that much magic, but shouldn't that be an aobvious giveaway that Kyle is somehow different? I mean, Keele can use spells, but he's been a scholar for how many years, and researched that for how long? Kyle seems more like some random kid they dragged off the streets, so for him to use magic that well may be a hint. Either way, I really like how Kyle handled that battle, defeating Cress Albane in a cameo.

And on cameos, I like how Marone and Cress both played a role in saving the team. I do know Marone because I saw the Eternia TV series, but I did find her appearance a bit sudden. Unless she knows something is up, I would like to see the justification for her appearance. I would have personally liked to see Cress join Reid in chasing after Marone and Kyle, but you somehow made him disappear into thin air. But then again, I probably have a weirder role for Cress in a cameo in my story than you. I had him as a murder suspect where my lead detective then proceeded to run a weird test by him using a light bulb. If you're interested in hearing about that, feel free to ask.

Other than that, I do hope you update this soon. It has been a while since you posted last, and I'm eager to see what happens next. Good luck and have a good 2012.

I really like the way things progressed here. Kyle got brainwashed by the darkness, started attacking Reid, then broke out of the darkness, and now him and Reid are friends again. This is really some amazing work done.

I kind of thought some filler parts were a bit distracting. The whole scene with Farah meeting Destiny 2's group is a bit awkward. I understand they aren't too likely to accept someone who pretty much fell out of the sky, but the way they reacted was over the top. And Max with the cat thing was kind of not needed either. I know Max is an eccentric guy, but that whole scene made him look immature. It made me want to pretend that those scenes never existed at all.

Otherwise, the twist with Stahn and the Sword of Destiny was amazing. It's also cool that you made Kyle more powerful with the sword, as you described Kyle's relationship to a sword kind of like an art. It's weird, but it also makes sense, that Kyle rejected using a gun just to turn to a sword, which is what Stahn used. I guess it symbolizes the way Kyle wants to keep Stahn in his memory. It's also odd because in future Tales games, weapons like guns and rifles become much more common (ex: Tales of Innocence). And given that all my Tales fics take place in the modern day, I'm much more likely to see Tales characters hold guns and bombs rather than swords and blades.

Either way, I'm still going to read on. I think there is potential for this story, despite the slip-ups. I'll drop by again in a few days.

Wow! That's a really interesting twist, to have someone from the Eternia universe become part of the Destiny universe. So Ras was actually Loni for a period of time? How does that explain Loni's continuing presence in Destiny 2 then? I'm on the edge of my seat to find out right now!

One thing I like about what you did with Ras is how you made it so that Reid and Ras still has that rivalry, but now it's on different terms. It used to be that Reid is distrusting of Ras because Farah likes him, but now Reid is distrusting of Ras due to Ras wanting to approach Kyle. Reid's big brother role to Kyle is really evident here, and I thought you did a really good job portraying that. Simple things like Reid wrapping an arm around Kyle's shoulder or pulling Kyle's arm really do a lot to show the protectiveness Reid shows to Kyle at the time.

One thing I think you can work on is describing certain elements not seen in either game. For example, when the angel that's supposed to be Stahn appeared, other than saying he's a glowing white figure with 6 wings, tell us a bit more about what he looks like. As well, when Kyle is mad at Reid and runs off, try to show a bit more than his tears. Was he shaking in anger? Was he trying to shout Reid down, despite standing half a head shorter than Reid? Adding things like that makes this story more complete, I think.

Well, pretty good so far. I'm used to the twists, since I write versions of Tales that are much different than what most writers do. It'll take a lot more to weird me out, so I'll drop by again in a couple of days to see what I can find. Have a good holidays!

Well, slowly making my way through this now. I have to admit that the weirdest part was the dungeon itself. I'm never good with writing dungeon scenes, but given how many of those exist in Tales, I think you did a good job with it.

I really enjoyed the Reid-Kyle rivalry over heroes. Reid is the guy who doesn't even want to be a hero, given he's a lazy bum who wants no part in anything. Kyle, on the other hand, feels it's his duty to become a hero, and it's his lifelong dream. So to see Reid get the Divine Aurora while Kyle hasn't found his Sword of Destiny, I think that's an interesting twist.

The really creepy thing was that darkness theme mentioned later on. Kyle kind of tole Farah that his "simple-mindedness" lets him live each day to the fullest, but the Melnics thing on his neck kind of threw a wrench into Kyle's plans. It actually kind of makes sense, because Kyle did lose pretty much everything here, with only Reid and co. helping him now. It really makes one wonder if Kyle will make it through unscathed.

Otherwise, still pretty good so far. The Destiny 2 gang making an appearance is always refreshing, and Harold's entrance is one for the ages. One thing I suggest you do if you continue this fic is to vary your vocabulary a bit. Sometimes you used the same word too many times in a row, and that makes for a dull read. Change up your words and description will make this story a bit more interesting, I think.

I'm finally starting to make my way through your sequel. So far, I don't see any of the problems that you mentioned before, about how the "weird stuff" is deviating from the prequel.

I like how Reid and Kyle were conmforting each other at the beginning. Reid was all down and gloomy when Kyle was still out cold, and then Reid comforts Kyle when Kyle reveals that he lost everything (including his sword). I think that's a good way to show that brotherly trait between them. It's also cool that you gave Loni, Judas, and Destiny 2's crew some showtime. I would love to see what happens if Reid and Loni did meet each other.

So, correct me if I'm wrong here, because my memory is a little fuzzy. Stahn is still supposed to be dead, but somehow he was changed into a different form? And when the Eternia group plus Kyle met Max, they offered to join the resistance movement. Was this actually in the game? Because I only recall Max joining Reid's group, but I don't recall if they actually became part of the movement. I haven't done anything Eternia related for years now, so my memory is fuzzy on this. Did I get all those details right?

Anyway, great progress so far. I'll drop by in a few days to continue on with this fic.

So, Corrina and Marone will join to this madness, huh? I wonder how they will interact with Reid and co.

Well he can always get one when they go to Infernia... or you could play with the SD sword you get from beating the Valkyrie, technically its a swordian but all it does in game is summon the tales of destiny characters to attack and you have to wait 30 minutes between summons.
