SebTheGeek chapter 1 . 6/2/2016 I know I'm way to late to be commenting on this but I'm going to anyway: Shit! That was amazing! Can except this as cannon or something? Like seriously, I like the idea that Soichiro knew Light was Kira way more than the way it really is. Well done. |
AnimeLoveIkuto chapter 1 . 4/27/2013 This was so sad and beautiful at the same time Great Job! |
killing u with umbrellas chapter 1 . 2/28/2012 very well written, i like how you portrayed him. |
Victor Sandman chapter 1 . 5/5/2011 Chilling, I have to say. Soichiro is really one of my most favorite characters, and this...yeah. Wow. I just can't imagine how much it'd hurt, realizing something like that. Amazing as always, mate! |
Dystopiac chapter 1 . 4/12/2011 Loved it! It was so sad and yet so befitting of Soichiro! _ |
pyr0technic chapter 1 . 4/8/2011 This scene was SO sad in the anime. . Ugh, I need to start reading more AE fics, Ima bout to cry all my tears out. |
lesbianspacecrimes chapter 1 . 4/3/2011 I kinda hated how they had him die not knowing the truth, it just seemed to fucked up...wonderful as always! |
SmartGirl16 chapter 1 . 3/8/2011 Wow... |
Archea chapter 1 . 11/13/2010 Sober and beautiful. I really like it that you included Sachiko - she's too often reduced to a naive outsider. Mothers know best... sometimes... |
kirkr0se chapter 1 . 6/6/2010 ... #is teary eyed# ~Mademise Morte |
Free of Mundane Thoughts chapter 1 . 1/8/2010 Ouch. "His beloved, broken, beautiful son." That really got me. That was just... uwah. Emotional isn't the right word. Neither is moving, quite. They're close, but... there should be a word that perfectly describes it, but either I don't know it, it's not coming to me at the moment, or the english language was stupid enough not to create it. Absolutely stunning. Though the idea of a "happy" death day is a little... weird, true. ;; |
Sashocirrione chapter 1 . 1/6/2010 This is a really beautiful, sad little piece. And, I think he did know. He just refused to admit it to himself. When, in canon, he saw the numbers, he seemed almost surprised. I think that meant he'd always truly suspected it deep down. |
Dystopian Hope chapter 1 . 11/14/2009 How tragic...I can't imagine what it would be like knowing that your son was a killer, let alone being responsible for your death... I think that this is a plausible twist, had the series gone this way. Job well done. |
CC186553987 chapter 1 . 11/12/2009 AH THIS MADE MY DAY :D Angsty fare, mhmm Favorite line: "He ignored what Kira was shouting and stared at Light". Gorgeous division there! I remember being sad and a little miffed when Soichiro died. Sad because...well, it was Soichiro. Ultimate Upholder of Morality and All That Is Good and all. Miffed because I had found Light a fascinating character, and now that he'd allowed his dad to die, I had a legitimate reason to either hate him with a newfound passion or dive even deeper into analyzing his twisted, brilliant mind (I picked neither, if you're wondering. I just kinda...drew back from emotional involvement concerning Light and regarded each new development in his plan of world domination with guarded interest. So I didn't wither when he died at the end, but I didn't cheer either. I just thought it was a great ending. Does that make sense...? ;;) Oh I know: I don't love or hate Light. I just acknowledge that he's a fantastic character, and while he does some things that I wouldn't, Death Note wouldn't be as intense without a character like him :D And he's admirable yet ridiculously mockable at the same time! (Actually, I can say that about most of the DN characters XD) Hope you had a worthy RIP Yagami Soichiro Day~ Love, CC :] PS. Also! "a father always knows" I sense a reference to Beautiful Disaster - when Light tells Soichiro about his Private Preferences? :D |
Expendable Red Shirt chapter 1 . 11/12/2009 This was really good. I mean, like, realy good. |
