I guess the story is supposed to make you feel sad for Neji, but I feel sad for Lee. He had to live his whole life knowing his wife was happier around another man.

Anyways, great job as always.

It was heart wrenchingly sad and instantly tear jerking, but it's that type of sweet bitterness combined with romance, that made it so very captivating. i don't think any further words will be deemed necessary, to explain what I mean.

That was beautiful and a story about life no less. Your writing is refreshing and realistic.

i definately enjoyed the story. i typically like happily-ever-after types of stories, but this one was written by you so i took my chances. it's depressing and sad, all the things it was suppose to be. it was very sweet too. i agree with drink your tea, that first paragraph summed neji up greatly. lee was not too much OOC & the characters were pretty much perfect. wonderful descriptions & awesome-ness flows through your veins. i mean seriously :). -

*wipes away tear* My goodness, I love it! Normally I seem to despise LeeTen stories but throw in a little NejiTen and it's all good! I think Neji was a bit OOC but chivalry and gallantry seems to fit him. "I just want Tenten to be happy." Yup, I can picture that.:)

The pace was good and the story flowed extremely well. I love the idea of Neji being a 'caged bird' and Tenten 'set him free.' I don't know. I think it's cute...even though they're old at the end of the one-shot! XD

I almost wish there would be a sequel...but Neji and Tenten are both dead so that would be hard to do. :P

Oh my gosh, that's so sad!

Very sweet and heartwarming. I love this story "Fly Free" because it stays in character and has such rich descriptions. Its also a little bit cheesy and that makes it all the sweeter. Great job.

I was reading one of your other stories, and decided to take a look at this.

In all honesty, I want to applaud you. Its beautifully written, and unlike most doesn't end up totally happy.. its good though. You really perfect the characters, and that is becoming a rarity, and its nice.
