Freaking GORGEOUS

Wow... This was amazing. You don't understand how much i loved this. I'm not one for multiple chapter stories, they often taper out and get boring and pointless, or the plot repeats, so I was a bit unsure about reading this, but I'm glad I gave you the benefit of the doubt. This is lovely. Very nicely done.

What a great story. I really felt sympathy for Valentine in this story. Every aspect of the story was amazing, and really perfect!

Wow. Just...wow. Do you write original fiction? Because, if you don't, you should. That was completely incredible. I'm not so much for the pairing, but the character development throughout the whole story was perfectly written. I think you hit the characters spot on, too, especially Valentine after his father's death.

Well, I like the story so far. The Luke/Valentine relationship is an interesting twist. But, I think you make Valentine too cold. Call me idealistic, but I always thought that he truly did love Jocelyn and care about/love Luke, in his own way, but his hatred eventually burned that out of him. It's obvious in the books that he cared about Jace and he regretted making his son a monster, so I think that shows that he had a spark of humanity in him. I don't know, I just think Valentine was a good man once with good intentions. He honestly thought he was doing the right thing. Is that really so evil? It was the bitterness of Jocelyn's betrayal that, I think, drove him over the edge.

Wow, complete already! An amazing story is all I can say. Any chance of a sequel? :) I'm sure many people would love that!

What an ending! Luke has gone from an naive and sweet boy to something fearsome and hardened, but from this he'll become a much stronger person. I love how you portayed him all throughout, and the way you got into his head was amazing. I'm sad that it's the end.

This chapter and the previous one were simply beautiful, no other way to put it. The compassion Valentine felt and his reasoning for wanting Lucian to kill himself, I adored it. I know I have said it before but I love that your Valentine isn't just "Oh I like to kill things and I don't like anyone because I'm evil" as most people's tend to be. You made him a real person with feelings and reasong, who just like everyone else is doing what he thinks is right. It really touched my heart, as lame as that sounds.

God, I was crying throughout most of this. It's just so sad. I thought I was holding it together pretty well but then there was the part about how Valentine kissed his father's knife in memory of the way he used to kiss Lucian... and I just lost it completely. SUCH good writing. I really felt that Valentine loved him, and I didn't feel that until this chapter. Earlier I thought perhaps it was obsession and lust and desire to control, but they really did love each other and it was always a doomed love.

I hope you update soon, this was very powerful. I think the author of the Mortal Instruments series might have done better to write THIS story, but then...she probably wouldn't do this the justice you are. Fantastic.

Even though I don't like Valentine, I feel terrible for him. Despite the fact that his ideology is completely wrong.

Okay anyways, are you stopping this story and making a sequel or are you going to continue it all the way when Luke fights Valentine?

That was so intense! Man, poor Luke, he must be devastated right now. But it's a good thing he was changed I think, it ultimately helped him to grow.

Even though I already knew what was going to happen, I was biting my nails during the wait for the transformation, haha. That was very well written.

I liked that when Valentine realized Luke was bitten, he had a moment of utter helplessness. He's always so sure of himself, but this shook him up badly.

I wonder what he'll think about the fact that Luke did change. I mean, he said it wouldn't make sense with his theories, this is very interesting!
