Beautiful work!

The first time I read this, I was close to tears. I was very moved by your story. I went about my day, and little bits and pieces of the elements of your story appeared in random things I came in contact with. It stayed with me from that time until now, and I decided to leave a review to tell you how much I appreciate and adore your story. It really is beautiful. Ben is amazing here. He was looking for peace, and it comes in many forms. You provided a new perspective on Ben, and you understand him and you wrote it so well. He becomes so human here, and I wonder how can anyone not adore that man? And your Meredith (Mary?) is lovely. Her wit, humor and understanding makes her such an amazing woman. I would have liked to meet her. Their banters make them quite a pair, and they were good together. Alas, all things must end, and that ending was just perfect. I was very in love with the idea that they would meet in random cities in Europe; I felt that was romantic and fitting for people like Ben and Meredith. Your story makes me feel so much. It's very well-written, and just wanted to say thank you for this - certainly one of the best stories I've ever read.

It's hard to write a review equal to this story.

A few things stood out, especially. LOST is full of conflicted Catholics, and of course Ben is one. The twist at the end was a good one. And last but not least, when you know how your character makes love and can convincingly show that, you can be said to truly know them.

For this story to have only four reviews appalls me. This is an amazing story. It's intriguing, and very deep, and I couldn't believe how in character Ben was. I loved this, and I'm thankful to you for posting it. Brilliant job.

I didn't believe you could wrap this story up in the last chapter, but you did. I enjoyed the reference to Mary mother. Definitely something Ben would look for. And the whole scene was so realistic and Ben-like. You have an incredible grip on him.
