I love this story, like love it a lot. It is extremely rare that I actually get attached to an original character in fics (I always want to love them, but too often their insertion into a story feels forced, or they just are an annoying character when focus is on them). That said, this story is most definitely an exception and it is wonderful to experience.

I just got done rereading Calista's Hogwarts years. I loved being reminded of how well you fleshed out these characters, breathing new life into the canon characters. Genuinely beautiful writing and characterization.

It’s great never been as engaged in a book as I am in this one. Lovely inner dialogue and descriptions. Amazing grammar and spelling to add to it, an over-all good read

when Gerald first mentioned about the ocean now feeling like a puddle it reminded me of the fable about boiling a frog
if you put a frog in boiling water it will jump out but if you put the frog in tepid water then slowly turn up the water you will boil the frog to death

the hundreds of letters a weak wasn't doing much so he has chosen to slowly 'boil Gerald alive' with only the 4 letters a year

What a read that was. Absolutely beautiful, one of the best fanfics there are. I loved everything about it, Severus' realistic and adhering to canon portrayal most of all.

WOW this was emotional near the end, add into the fact that it's currently 5AM where I am, having started reading this at aporximatly 6PM yesterday. Suffice to say that the ending with Dad and Daughter was hitting very close to home. In a good way.

This is a really good ending and I can't wait for more. I am so satisfied with Calistas life for now. She had her little succes, she has family and so much more than Olivia - all thanks to her hard work. Already starting the next volume!

Then again, even for one like me who has had Latin in school for 7 years: Their grammar is hell. I don't hold the quality of Latin against you.
