calynrabka96 chapter 42 . 8/4 I cried ...and cried. |
Lacrime Myui chapter 41 . 7/17 ... Shit. Pein managed to hit her at the last minute, isn't he? Fuck. Or there just a stupid pole existed there and she somehow landing on it? This is great story. Thanks for writing it. This is the fisrt time I reading self-insert realistic oc in Naruto fanfic. It's nice. Really it is. But one thing I freaking irritated was Akane made her freaking-there-no-second-life loading faster to dead. While in Konoha, yes, I understand why her actions like that. But while with some Akatsuki members? She kinda let her guards down. Damn it. Other than that? Well, uh nothing. Just that. Once again, thanks for this story and your hard work for making this awesome story. |
dudepotatos chapter 42 . 7/11 I cried. Thank you. |
homelybiscuit chapter 42 . 7/4 ah damn, I loved that ending and epilogue it wrapped everything up so well. glad I finally got around to finishing reading this 3 |
homelybiscuit chapter 35 . 7/3 took a very long break from this story and I came back and its as great as I remembered. the whole Tobi/Madara/Obito situation makes me nervous for Akane |
Guest chapter 36 . 6/29 I seriously want to slap and slowly murder akane for trying to benefit herself by manipulating our boy Itachi SIR HE ALREADY SUFFRED ENOUGH KWNSLSMS she's being a bitch sjdhwk but a good realistic bitch nevertheless |
Sg chapter 42 . 6/24 I’m so glad I came across this fanfiction. Well written, made me cry, pulled so many emotions out of me, I can’r even begin to express how good your story was! It was everything I look for in a self insert and I wish there were more like yours. Thank you, thank you for finishing this piece :)) |
arga101 chapter 42 . 6/23 Ahh, It's always that more-sweet-than-bitter taste when you get an ending for your fanfic, a really good one at that. Firstly, I actually wanted and had reread a few of the last chapters before writing this just to get all the feeling, and it's totally worth it. Salutations to you, who (even if English is foreign to you(?)) in the last 10 years had made better and better writing. Especially with the emphasis with psychology, which I think is helped by your background, the tense conflict in the story goes way further than 'a crossover'. Thank you for the ending and epilogues, I really love stories put down well, even if it's sad (RIP Akane :( ). I can't imagine the journey it was for you (10 years!), but hopefully its as fun as you've made us readers. Hopefully everyone, characters and us too, will recover and be better than ever. Thank you for the story, be safe and be happy. From Indonesia, |
St.Alessia chapter 42 . 6/22 This was such a good story and it was so sad too, not afraid to admit that I teared up a little bit too. Thank you Xoxo |
Tim Ngu chapter 42 . 6/21 Holy crap they made it! A bittersweet ending but I’m glad they got back to there world. Man this took so many years but I’m glad it’s finish and was quite the ride 3 Thanks for writing this beautiful fic ! |
Blades of Fury chapter 42 . 6/21 Well glad I got closure on this. This felt bitter sweet. I don't have much more to say but thanks for the read. |
Calenton chapter 42 . 6/21 Wow. I can't believe it's over! After the last chapter I didn't really know how to feel and what to think and wasn't satisfied by the ending yet. But after this chapter it feels complete and rounded up! Such a sad ending and such a shame they have never found Akane's body. You'd think it would be well preserved in such cold weather so I wonder what happened to her. I also wonder what happened in the manga while they were gone. And how life in the Naruto universe went on after they left. So many unaswered questions, will you ever answer them? ;p Thank you for notifying me that you posted this chapter and thank you for continueing to write this story and properly finishing it! It's so strange because I basically grew up into an adult with this story. I'm not into Naruto nor do I read fanfiction anymore, but I've always been hooked on this story and have been faithfully reading it :) Can't believe it has come to an end. I'll never forget it! I've always been a picky reader, but I loved your story from start to finish. Please contact me if you ever decide to write anything else :) |
Thomas Drovin chapter 42 . 6/20 And so your lovely, LOVELY story comes to an end. Poor Sandy...a very serious case of survivor's guilt but can you blame her? She survived and had to come up with SOME kind of story to explain what happened to her and Elisa...hardly surprising as the truth would be UNBELEIVABLE and poor Sandy would be COMMITTED! I can't blame her for how messed up she is...doesn't really seem fair when you think about it huh? But as you pointed out this story wasn't supposed to have a happy ending, and we all know not ALL stories CAN have them. Seems a shame you've finished as you did such a great job...what will you do now? Reading this story gave me an idea or two I'd like to share with you IF you're interested. Also by all means put in deleted scenes and alternative bits in...that way you can incorporate your separate Author's Note...if you want to. Anyway thanks for this story, Good Health, Clear Body, Strong Mind...and see you...OUT THERE! |
urs-v chapter 42 . 6/20 That, that is a very solid epilogue. It gives us just enough to bring closure to the story and the characters, give us a peek into their live after, without overstaying it's welcome and try to just cover everything. It was a good fit in both in theme and tone. A very good work. Chapeau. I will admit to be slightly disappointed you did not give us a "Naruto side" of the epilogue, while the overall story looked like it was still on it's rail (more or less), Akane and Hana still left an impact on many important character, if only on a personal level. But it was not needed per se. And congratulation for pulling it out, many author give up on their fic, but you finished it, that itself is praise worthy. 10 years of work is indeed a long time and while I have only been around for half of it, it was still a pleasure to follow you. It's also amusing to re-read the first few chapter and look how your writing evolved and improved over time. While I have been following the Price of Living for 5 years, it only represented 8 chapters out of 40, but they have been some of the best I have seen from a fanfiction. I do hope you and yours are safe with the covid still around and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. |
Ekun-Asha chapter 42 . 6/20 An entire decade of knowing you... (Is that possible?) Where your mind thaws out texts... (It is possible.) Of two people who, Slipped in a vortex Which sucked them through... It’s not 72 hours in a minute, It’s a decade disguised as infinite. And through pain Through fame Through knowledge of a script That reality roasted them On a spit And spit it did Only Sandy remembers Even as she sees her sister She’ll always remember That Elisa saved her And it’s a sacrifice worth giving: Because she’ll always know The Price of Living |
