hi! this is really good; i just LOVE American history, the Revolution being one of my favourites. but before i forget, here's some information you got wrong about the Boston Massacre:
Samuel Adams planned it. you see, most people didn't want to be independent. they just wanted to be treated as equal Englishmen. but the "Average Joe" did not really get into these "radical" ideas of independence, so Samuel Adams had to get a fire going so that the other colonists would get angry enough to fight for independence. so he had some colonists throw snowballs with rocks in them at British soldiers near a pub. (the guy that was drunk was "Champagne Charley", who was a speaker at Parliament, telling them they could "pluck feathers from the colonial goose with a minimum of squawking) the soldiers shot at them, killing Crispus Attucks, who ended up as a martyr. ten others were either killed or wounded by the shooting. to everyone watching, the soldiers had been shooting at people who threw snowballs at them innocently. England agreed that the soldiers would have a trial in the colonies rather than America, but Samuel Adams still had a trick up his sleeve to REALLY get the colonists angry. he had his second cousin, John Adams, be the lawyer of the colonists. John Adams was a VERY good lawyer, and Samuel Adams told him to make SURE that the soldiers get aquitted. only two of the redcoats were found guilty for manslaughter, and the soldiers were released after only being branded on the hand. wouldn't you be angry if this happened? Paul Revere, who painted a picture of the massacre, wrote, "Unhappy Boston! see thy sons deplore / Thy hallowed walks besmear'd with guiltless gore."
also, here's some information about Samuel Adams:
lived - 1722-1803
he was the leading spirit in hosting the Boston Tea Party. A failure in the brewing business, he was sent by Massachusetts to the First Continental Congress of 1774. he signed the Declaration of Independence and served in Congress until 1781.
another thing about the aforementioned "Champagne Charley":
he's known for getting drunk when he gives his brilliant speeches to Parliament. the persuaded Parliament to ass the Townshend Acts in 1767, the most important of these new regulations was a light import duty on glass, white lead, paper, paint, and tea. these taxes paid the salaries of the royal governors and judges in America. to England, it was a reform long overdue. but to the Sons of Liberty (and colonists suspicious of the English government) was just another way for them to be enchained. even worse was when the London goverment, after passing the Townshend taxes, suspended the legislature of New York in 1767 for failure to comply with the Quartering Act. however, the Townshend taxes were taken on less seriously by the colonists. they could secure smuggled tea at a cheap price, and consequently smugglers increased their activities, especially in Massachusetts. that was when the troops were sent in, leading to the Boston Massacre explained above.
sorry if that sounded more like a history lesson than anything, but after reading chapter 2, i just sorta twitched a little and got out my apush book (by the way, much of what i said came right out of that text book).

Oh, and I loved how Adams pointed out all the unusual things about Alfred. That just made me anticipate everything that was going to happen after. And, possibly, in the next chapter.

W I read the first chapter months ago (?), and i had no idea that you had continued it since then. So, when i check on it, not 1 new chapter was added but-behold! 2 new chapters were added! :D

When it comes to the civil war, most people just write the revolutionary scene (if others have done more than that- and i am not talking about chibi America when he was still a kid- i haven't read it '). But you actually are writing about the whole process! That's amazing \()/

And i can tell that your writing is improving with each chapter (unlike mine ;A;). God, i really need to get back to writing. . .

But this story is GREAT.~ I hope you update soon!~ This story is VERY INTERESTING. I want to know what happens next! I love everyone's personalities! Ha-ha, I sometimes don't like stories when the people get hurt, and the country himself/herself gets hurt as well, but in this case, it's wonderful!~

And I guess you got the name 'Edgeworth' from Miles Edgeworth? I think he's from Gyakuten Kenji or something like that. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it's just a guess,
