Hmm...I didn't get an alert for this chapter. I just got the one for chapter 21 and confused. At any rate, I'm glad Em went to see him and told him the plain, unvarnished, hard truth that Jasper really needed to hear. I'm anxious to see what path Jasper will take after he's had time to think things through.

I kind of thought that would be his opinion, or rather his hope. For him it would be the goal that makes it worth going through all that he is, trying to get better. His hope is his purpose. The question is, what will she do now?

Maybe she should have opened her eyes to more than the cullen people. It was obvious through the story what hope he held. she should have been able to see it.

My heart is breaking for both Jasper and Bella.

I see both their sides. However, my heart is hurting more for Jasper right now. To have any type of hope be taken away is crushing. I know this VERY well. :(

She is being very sweet in considering Jasper, but unless he has made some serious, not flighty, changes for HIM and not for her, I still think she is better with Emmett. ;)

Lord! I'd fallen so far behind on this and am just now caught up. So much has happened since I left off with them running away together. I am so glad they're getting help, and that it does seem to be helping both of them. The joint therapy sessions were a brilliant idea. I love how you've used the dress to bring out her lasting scars and her insecurities as well as to bring her and Em together. He's so good for her right now, and I can understand where his combination of brawn and tenderness do make her feel safe. Combine his safety with that of her foster family and other friends, and you've created an environment where she truly is the safest she's ever felt, at least since the accident. Beautiful work!
