Well not really, that's a slight exaggeration, but it was so cute of Dutchy to ask Corky to drinks for her birthday! 3 I love Corky. And yes, that may be just because I'm living vicariously through her, but either way she's a great character, and she and Dutchy are both adorable. Especially together.

I can hardly believe its been a year either - but it was definitely worth the wait! This chapter was just absolutely amazing. I mean... there were so many good parts: the rogue kids, IF running after Tumbler, Peg's continued search for Mr. Jones and the negotiations for his return, Les turning against his brother... I loved every part :) This is still one of my most favorite fics and I really hope you continue working on it.

Dear Peg,

I am going to review this whole fanfic again, because you and it definately deserve it. Usually I don't have time to type up a review that tells exactly what I feel but since I have the time now, I figured... why not?

I'm going to go ahead and claim that this is probably my favorite Newsies fanfiction. It's got the friendships and personalities of both our beloved newsboys and the NML/Newsies fangirls. And the friendship between Corky and I has been pretty spot on.

I also love reading it because it's well written, with little to no grammar/spelling mistakes, and just overall... really cute.

The relationships between the newsboys and the girls. They're just really cute. And of course I've got to boast about how much I love how you wrote the interaction/scenes between Bumlets and Polaroid(me)!

And I would like to end this by saying...

I can't wait for the next update!

First off - I love the way you set up this chapter. The pessimism that hangs over poor Skitts like a cloud, the typical NYC morning, the description and detail about the city. I'll tell you: I had the misfortune of getting stuck in the subway terminal a couple of weeks ago, waiting for the subway to take me to the 7 train (so I could get to the Mets game in Queens). Reading your opening paragraph, I was back in the hot, muggy terminal, waiting as two trains passed me by before we could actually get on the one we wanted. It was terrible - I feel for ya, Skittery!

Ah, Crumbs! There's a Crumbs in Westfield by me and I absolutely adore their cupcakes :) No wonder Skittery was willing to brave the mob on the platform in order to earn a cupcake - though, hmmm... maybe there could be more there. And yes to the pink shirt reference! They’re seriously obligatory at this point. Sorry, Skittery, you’re awesome and all, but you’ll never live down the fact that you’re shirt is pink.

Oh, no – Mr. Jones! Gotta love their taunting (pansy horse with pansy wings) and how just the children’s drawings were enough of a clue to set Peg off on her search. And twitching… I love the descriptive use of the word twitching, it’s perfect. I have to say I also adored Specs acting as the seasoned veteran when encountering the two interns. His “they’re evil” was wonderful. Poor Adren and Repeat, they had no idea what they’re in for.

I guess I should say the same for Stress, too. Attack of the killer pen – or maybe just that rogue group of children. Then again, it gave her a little moment with “You Know Who”… which was, as I’m sure you could predict, my most favoritest part. And, considering I loved the whole chapter, that’s saying something!

Yeah for Boots and Snipeshooter making a cameo. I loved the reference, the puppy-dog eyes and the Godiva cigar. I can’t wait to see what those two have in store for our heroes during part two :)

This is wonderful! Love it. Skittery, Peg and cupcakes on the train is adorable. I could imagine it all so easily. That scene is priceless.

What amused me the entire chapter was that out of everything in the world to possibly strike fear into the hearts of everyone, it’s two ten year olds. Then again it is Snipeshooter and Boots. Those two are quite the devious team. In a twisted little way the whole situation is funny, like a horror movie gone comical. The irony is that the newsies (children) brought the (adult) paper giants to their knees in the strike. Now it’s happening again in the office.

I actually think there’s an old musical about a guy who works his way up from the mailroom to CEO in one day or something. What Specs said totally reminded me of it. Neat reference.

Cool, Repeat has a little bro. I love kids, though not the evil ones like Boots and Snipes. Hopefully Devon doesn’t get in too much trouble. Wait a minute, if it’s kid’s day where’s Tumbler? Is he Devon?

Poor Stress and Peg. Revenge will be sweet.

YAY! Update! I was seriously very excited when I got the e-mail. I love this story. Absolutely adore it. Which you know, because I've told you.

Specifically, I thought the bit in the subway was very sweet. And amazingly well done, too. And I very much don't envy them, having to deal with evil children. I just quit my daycare job, best feeling in the world, I swear. So yes, I agree, kids are evil. Though, call me sadistic, but I can't wait to see what kind of havoc they wreak. It shall be interesting indeed, I'm sure. Update soon, please! I must have more!
