Yamamoto following Gokudera to Italy would be a good one! Or on Gokudera's return he's all quiet and withdrawn and Yamamoto and co feel guilty and try to help him out..

Or Gokudera gets into an accident? And he's in the hospital... loses his memory?

Hello, i'm totally diggin' this idea :3

Right now in the story you don't need to present any major plot twists or anything, just flesh out what Gokudera's feeling/experiencing in Italy. You should definitely touch upon the fact that he lived there for so long with so many bad memories. I think you've done a smart job with that already, but going deeper into that section of his past would bring more to the plot, just not too much all at once! Spread it out between chapters definitely.

Maybe have him meet with people he knew, mafioso who turned him down, general assholes who disrespect him b/c his heritage?

I also don't remember if the current status of his father is ever mentioned in the manga, but that could come into play.

lol just some stupid obvious ideas, but just build everything up first, one big problem some authors have is jumping into the action without properly setting up the story. Good luck!

have you though about the end? what is the last chapter about? who is agaist them being together, what happens to make take them apart? what are they feeling? and what do they think about it?

these are just a few questions that need an answer before you know what happens. once you get that far then the next step is the easiest.

oh noes, a writer block ;_; I think you should keep with gokudera's pov than yamamoto's pov and back and forth thingy. I do wanna see how Gokudera's doing in Italy, trying to be strong and not be sad D Then Yamamoto in Namimori being not as cheerful as he used to be, but tries to be make everyone happier. Sorry i'm not much help but I like this story and hope you continue! :D

i definitely liked seeing this from Yamamoto's POV and finding out what actually happened. I am sending them both a bunch of mental hugs, and i hope that things start to at least get a little better for them, though i don't see that happening for a while. are you gonna do a time jump, or keep going from this point on, out of curiosity? i think either way would work with this story. as for the title, i don't have any ideas, sadly, but i hope you'll have one soon :)

this seems like a really interesting story, and i want to see where you plan to take it. i can understand not being hugely into writing fanfiction anymore (i still read constantly, but i can never seem to write anything down in recent months), but i do hope that you're able to continue this :)
