I know you haven't posted the new version yet, and I've shown my excitement before, but it always helps to do so again. I can't wait to see the new version! I've long since moved on to new fandoms, but this story will always remain a favorite of mine. Now that your abilities as a writer have grown, it should be so much better, too! Sorry for the confusion, BUT THIS IS NOT THE NEW VERSION. I'm slow to even get on that. This is the old version of the story, so please...don't think that this is new and updated. It isn't.

It's really great to see this story being updated once more! Long time fan, although I will admit I haven't checked back in a while. New material is looking really good. :)

Okay with long stories I usually check if they are going to be continued still. And then i notice these Notices or AUTHORS NOTES which are never good most times.

But you appeared to have kept with it.

And I see you've edited and polished up to Ch 13.

i just finished reading the story and i have to say, this is one of the most well put together fics i have ever read. you have captured the feel of Skies of Arcadia in a way only the game makers could and chose a topic no one else dared to try and you made it a great story. the characters you created are deep and have their own unique personalities and you presented a very good plot element that explains why there is no black moon continent. this really should be turned into a follow up game. but now we must address the problems (few that there are). yes there are a few spelling and grammar errors but those are in a;most every fic I've read so that's easy to overlook. Vyse has a bit more attitude than i like but i figure you spend a year as the guy who saved the world and one of the most eligible bachelors in the world you get frustrated but all in all he seems to have more of an air of command about him. Fina does slide out of character as well but if you were faced with a mission like hers it would change you to. all in all this an extremely good story and you shouldn't be so down on yourself. if i owned the rights to Skies of Arcadia i would call you into my office and tell you i want your story in script format by the end of the week. this got way longer than i wanted it to be but oh well. please update soon and best of luck with any future stories you write.

Wow, I thought you were just another author that lost interest and gave up. I'm glad to hear that you plan on giving the story another shot since it did have the most interesting plot out of most of the SOA stories. If you feel a re-write and a fix up is necessary then by all means go ahead. I too know how it feels to write one self into a corner. I'll still keep an eye out on this one.

i thought the story flow wasn't too bad.

but if we didn't have little usless scenes in life, we wouldn't have (segues(?) between big moments and ther'ed be no rest.

Hahah, well to tell you the truth I'm surprised anybody even noticed I updated it. I'm glad you're still interested in reading it though!

At first the changes in the story will be minute; there will be little grammar, spelling and syntax errors that will be fixed...but after a while things will change. I wrote my dumb self into a corner and then I couldn't write the ending I wanted to...not to mention Aern frickin' annoyed me. Then there was all the terrible OOC and that stupid near-rape of Lani. I must get my rapeface on when writin fics because it seems I've used that before. _

Anyway I'll start posting it soon in a new story, at which point the old Lunar Cycle will be deleted (except for the notice so people will know what's going on). Thanks for reading!

Wow, that was a nice chapter. I love how you developed Fina's distress and particularly Gilder's character-he deserves a history and you created a noble one for him. Sad but very plausible. I believe I've said it before but I'll say it again: you have their personalities down pat. :)
