That was funny. The fact that they wanted to kill the rat seemed rather weird and upsetting to me - I really love animals and would have just put the thing outside. But that's personal a preference/reaction. The writing itself was quite good, and the conversation about Mustang's doubts and everything well done. He must worry from time to time, and Hawkeye did a good job assuaging his fears. I'm glad that they were able to laugh in the end.

I saw one error:

Amestris is either European or in another universe, depending on which series you're using (anime or manga). 'Inches' are only used in America. When writing for Fullmetal Alchemist, I make a point of always using the metric system. It's not a big problem, just something I noticed.
