When I first heard this song by the Goo Goo Dolls, I IMMEDIATELY thought of Jess and Rory. I’m so close to sobbing at this because you actually did it. You wrote a fic that was based/inspired on this song. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of them when listening to this song. Thank you for this. Truly.

I hopped on this Literati bandwagon so late. And because the series ended so disastrously (for not only Jess and Rory but the entire show itself), I thought I’d pop back on this website to find some good original fanfiction on them. And what happened was me spending an entire day and a half reading through all your blessed pieces of work (not just this one, but ALL of your literati pieces).

I’m floored. The way you write, how you perfectly capture their essence, how you made every story as if it really could be an episode straight out of the series.

I know it’s been so long since you last posted anything but just know you forever has a reader that will consistently come back on this website JUST to read your work, YEARS from now. Seriously, you have a gift for the english language and definitely know how to really evoke emotions by stringing a couple of words together and forming a sentence that takes your breath away in one fell swoop. I adore all your pieces. You’re officially my favorite author (and not just gilmore girl work) on this whole website. I can’t even properly describe how much I love your work. Jesus...

Um. Hi. I bet you never even get reviews on these nowadays, but I couldn't just keep getting through the one shots without leaving at least a comment. I've been loving all these, lately everything you can find about literati are fix it fics post revival. Which are amazing and great and honestly I'm so happy people took the time and put the effort to write them, but your filets are exactly what I needed: one last glimpse into these characters and their minds, into Jess' struggles and Rory's inexperienced navigation of her feelings. It genuinely feels like you extended their lives a little, and that's one of the best things I could ever say about someone's characterisation. Thank you for writing this, for loving this characters and their very human flaws, for sharing them with us.
