I love this story! The 'limited area' is something I haven't seen in other DC ghost fics, but it makes so much sense.

Shinichi's way of proving who he is to Ran was perfect!

Will Shinichi's parents be able to see him? Yuusaku seems like the type who would be able to see ghosts, but having Ran be the only one who sees him is fine too.

Will Heiji show up in this story? News of his rival's death would definitely be enough to draw him into investigating. If not that, then Ran suddenly becoming a famous detective might..
