It was just such a tragic premise than unfurled with such bitter grace - it was so well written, and it had this coarseness to the truly heartfelt emotions Kirk was going through that summed up Kirk and Bones perfectly - you're a master at tugging at heartstrings, really. 'You’re pissed at him for leaving you alone and you’re pissed at yourself because he saved eight hundred lives and you’ve yet to even make one for yourself. ' That was just really, really beautiful, and you managed to define James Kirk in a sentence, which I will forever be jealous of. I loved it, well and truly. |
