Personally, the story is awesome. It just drives me NUTS how the story's in present tense for EVERYTHING, even the things that, according to the story, happened in the past. Like you use 'having, instead of 'had' and 'was' so many times, I thought that this story was told in first person instead of 3rd person limited omniscience.

Based on your story another thought came to me. Easily have The Queen order all Witches and Wizards to undergo a psychological evaluation and based on those evaluations show most of the Wizards losing their rights to make decisions for themselves thus putting them under a conservatorship/guardianship because they lack common sense and critical thinking skills. Thus making it to where they are no longer allowed to make decisions for themselves which includes managing their own money. So I would make it to where those guardians are a combination of Mundanes and a member of a non-human magical race working together meaning I would assign two guardians one mundane human and one magical over each human magical. And see how the Witches and Wizards like not being able and allowed to manage their own affairs anymore. Idiots! Dumbledore would especially hate having his rights taken away from him.

The Potter and Nightwing family need to join forces and even become one family for the sake of Hilda. Plus because of what Dumbledore has done along with The Ministry for Magic and the Wizengamont pay for the crimes against his family and all the other Magical Races. And it is severe enough to warrant the Death Penalty and Lord the right to execute them himself his chosen champion enforcer.

This is where The other Races with the Other Nations of the ICW turn on magical Britain with the Permission of the Queen if not the Queen orders her Royal Military to join forces to put an end to The Ministry of Magic and their Laws of Discrimination and sentencing Those of the Wizarding Community to Death for the Murders of the Innocent Creatures and Humans. Even going so far as to order a complete re-education of the entire wizarding community even going so far as not allowing them to work until completed and they accepted what is taught. If they reject it then they are to accept that they will lose many of their rights and freedom if not their life. And a warning that should anyone interfere with a mate bond they will suffer dearly.

As for Hilda is I say Raven Claw. And I would like it if Snape and Flitwick come to an agreement to look after and protect her. Even going so far as to find some neutrals to Allie with to go against Dumbledore and other Racist Bigots. Both Light and Dark. Even teaming up to set right the crimes against the Evans-Potter Family.
