Oh, my. *fans self* That was very good. I liked the easy intimacy between Zuko and Mai and how it flowered into wild desire the course of the rowdy evening. The sex was vividly yet tastefully done, and their tenderness and chemistry showed me something about the characters and their relationship, which is what all good sex scenes (like all good scenes) should do.

A suggestion for the future; while the descriptions were very good, some of them felt redundant. I think it's usually best to choose one image where there are multiple images that do the same job, since overlapping images water each other down. Something like the following, for instance:

"a sly grin played on her lips, her eyes dancing with that same triumph"

would be sparer and more pointed if you chose one or the other.

So excellent work, I really enjoyed it. I'm considering bringing my own smut into the ff.n fold if this level of expression is acceptable for M-rated fic. And I hope things won't be weird between us just because the first story of yours I reviewed is smut. :D

I love that you took the relatively small detail of music night on the ship and revived it in such a delightful way. Your writing flows just beautifully, and I really felt the urgency and love between the couple. Thanks for sharing such a satisfying one-shot. :)

I really enjoyed this. Funny and such a happy ending! ;)

My only criticism is that towards the end you started to repeat yourself a little and there were a couple of mistakes. But nothing major and all in all it was very well written!
