Suzaku did in fact forgive Lelouch due to Shirley's last words but was forced to become his old self once again due to the Zero Requiem since Lelouch thought he losted Nunnally and that is what drove him into bringing it into fruition.

I love it. But I am an emotional person so It wasba little too sad for me.

Congratulations on writing in a different style. I think the inner mind theater and outer happenings contrast is nice, and there is a flow of thoughts. The only thing that's annoying me is the lack of an original plot. (I know I do it all the time) It's like, the only thing incorporated by you is Suzaku's thoughts which are equally cliched and does not prompt any 'special feelings' when I read it. (There are probably a lot of fics like this one which portray Suzaku's thoughts a little something like this: Lelouch, hate, Lelouch, love, Lelouch, confusion, Lelouch, realization, Lelouch, denial, Lelouch, acceptance, Lelouch, crying, sobing, why, gods, why? WHY MY LELOUCH?, then angstangstangst, duty, promise, Lelouch, angst etc.)

Yeah, so for someone who's very good at thinking up plots to have to focus on developing a character's thoughts and emotions, I think it was very hard for you right? Fics like these can be used as fillers in multi-chap stories which I KNOW you can write. So uh, good job on getting this out. Not too original though, for a fanfic.

It's a nice fic. Very in-character and a very insightful perspective on the events on the last episode. Though, to be honest, I was a little confused at the beginning, but it was alright as the story went on. And I suppose it doess happen with most stories, being lost at the beginning.

Still, the pity I feel when I read this fic was and was not created by you. In the sense that, with good writing and good vocabulary, you have created a good piece of literature, and that the event was well-written and very relative to the actual episode. The only pity is that Lelouch died. That is what was implied, anyway.

So, in general, a very good fic, with my favourite type of bittersweet ending. Bittersweet, yet relevant. :)
