Why do i have a feeling that somehow Yamamoto is Ukitake's reincarnation? Anyway, really good story you wrote!

This was great... can we have a follow-up though? Like with Squalo coming to the end of his life again (dying in the line of duty, he's an assassin, he won't live THAT long), and wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey having him reappear in Soul Society a few weeks after he blue-balls Ukitake? (Or he simply dies around that time anyway), and either Ukitake remembers him and is like "What happened there?" (because the author says so, that's why) or Squalo and Ukitake somehow meet again and re-enact the first time (because Squalo is a troll like that), or they meet a different way and end up becoming really good friends (and maybe something more) while Squalo waits for Xanxus to turn up (because Xanxus would never die while Squalo is around to prevent it).

Woah that was certainly unexpected! Does past squalo remember the soul society?
I was kind of hoping squalo would suggest ukitake go see lussuria or another sun flame user just to see if the healing flame could do anything for ukitake's TB. But what I really wanted was an impromptu reunion between squalo and the living. And flame discussions. R they like spiritual power since its a dying will flame?
Maybe u'll make another crossover please!

Wow, that was sad. :( I liked the start, and how it ended. Though, the making out was too sudden, IMO. I guess it can't be helped in a oneshot.

BOOOOOO. As much as I love Squalo, YOU SHOULDA STAYED DEAD. D,X I somehow fell in love with this pairing. and I love this story..though I wish there were a sequel of when Squalo dies (again) and re-meets Ukitake :P My two favorite white-haired men..

I'd say that Squalo has a pretty good afterlife ahead of him if within a week he (almost) gets laid, well for someone that carries out regular assassinations.

Poor Ukitake and his TB. :( TB ruins all the fun. Squalo was worried? Squalo? Worried? D'AW. I love it when people don't write him as the cold, heartless bastard he really is. Because that would be boring and I'm starting to dislike the rape in XS and S80 these days. Just, no thanks.

Quick thinking, Ukitake. AN EXCUSE THAT WORKS.

“Let’s concentrate a bit more on the matter at hand, now, shall we?” Ukitake whispered, his dark eyes flashing. “I think you’re about ready.”

OMG HOTT

“What’s wrong?” he asked, but Squalo couldn’t answer. His vision was going dark, and the more he tried to clutch at consciousness, the faster it seemed to fade. The last thing he heard was Ukitake calling his name before darkness claimed him.
