And they lived happily (with her inevitably sniping lovingly at him periodically) ever after. I do wish this lovely beginning for them. I do miss this show and you remind me of how interesting these two supremely damaged but ultimately fabulous characters were. Thank you for the story (and the thoughts).

It's a nice story you wrote. Just one thing is bothering me : Dani is a recovering alcoholic, I really don't think she would drink scotch so... casually. There's a whole episode in which she's forced to drink again by some crazy guy and then she's sent straight to the AA.

Having said that, you have a nice writing style.
