Reviews for Caterpillar Wine
kittycat69 chapter 1 . 9/1/2014
I just wanted to say that I love your writing. You actually make me FEEL something when I read your writing. I think your writing is so imaginative and real and honest. Shame you won't be continuing the stories on this site. I would love to know where you are currently posting your original writing, if you would be so kind as to tell me the site and pen name?

Thank you.
GeezerWench chapter 1 . 1/20/2012
Well, that was entertaining. And imaginative.

Some rather unusual pairings here.

Funny, in a way, and kinda sad, too.
Moranion chapter 1 . 11/19/2011
I've read this story for a hundreth time now, and I suppose that I should be ashamed about my lazyness, only now leaving you a review. But I believe that I wrote you a review once, on the Emperors of Washington, and it felt pointless to repeat the same stuff.

but reading this story now - with almost three years of perspective, with hundred more years lived in my head - I really need to tell you how very furious I am when someone writes a book and throws so much potential away, leaving it up to anonymous shadows on the internet to pick all that trash up and make something alive from it all.

you are a glorious writer and the things you made from that ugly mess of a book are nothing short of miraculous. I sincerely hope that the silence on your account here means you are writing your own stories that are being published. In that case, I would love it if you could direct me towards a title or two.

bklover08 chapter 1 . 10/16/2010
this was an interesting bit, but very enjoyable in the way that the characters retained some but not all of their familiar traits.. Love that the imprints were unsuccessful, pretty funny to think of it that way, which I think we all did! and Bella faking it and keeping Edward behind a shield, very droll... ;)
reve2weaver chapter 1 . 9/18/2010
I am transported into a different distant world and yet it is immediately recognizable. Light wispy sentences about Bella eating only octopuses or Emmett playing with artic moths, and yet there is a weight beneath the words that lets you feel the length of their lives, the sadness, the emptiness. Fascinating rhythm.

Rhi Aeffyll chapter 1 . 4/29/2010
While I'm not sure I appreciate the manifestation of it, I certainly enjoyed your theories on the far future. One of the things that intrigued me about twilight was their agelessness. What kind of life can you have when you live FOREVER. How does it change the way you think, interact, etc. I suppose it helps that their cognitive functions work in real time, like ours.
So great job.
