I loved the chapter where George acknowledged Jim as his son. It brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad George got at least five years raising Jim, plus had gotten a few weeks to know him as an adult. But Jim does not have these memories of his childhood in the new timeline. So the situation is a little messed up. And now Jim is going to meet Spock's parents, but he's already met them, so that should be an interesting reunion.

There is so much going on and it's all happening so fast! I hope George and Winona can be spared the pain of George's loss. I really hate how the new timeline destroyed Amanda, Vulcan, the Kirk family and really didn't give us much in return. Not to mention killing off Chris Pike eventually. I'm a fan of the actors in the reboot but not of the destruction of reference points.

Lol, Jim wearing his dad's Starfleet undies! I saw Starfleet pajamas in a novelty catalog once. Once it has been seen, it can not be unseen.

It occurs to me that they could stop George from dying and just have the regular timeline proceed, somewhat. That would be less sad.

Uh, how did Jim manage to move a few yards away from Spock when they were still bound by handcuffs?

That was one of the inconsistencies I noticed that others had not pointed out yet.

This chapter is a bit hard to believe but the funny thing is that the rumored next movie is supposed to have Jim meet George Kirk somehow. Lol, did you write the script?

This is such a cute story. Poor Spock, he's javing a rough time with two Kirks to deal with.

Hmm...I would have thought Spock could take them. But this way is much more fun!

If you don't know about hacking you should just invent new terminology and procedures, since I doubt they will have IP addresses and firewalls as we know them in the future. Lol, you could invent some pretty wacky stuff!

This is looking to be a fun story.
