Personally I would have used Fanbeemon. It's an Insectoid Digimon that vaguely looks like Tentomon.

This was amazing! It ups the action, the mystery and the jokes. I didn't expect a crossover, but it was a nice surprise. Please continue making great stories!

See, this is an aspect of Diaboromon's personality that was definitely present in the source material, but was never really expanded upon. On one hand, he launched a nuclear warhead at Colorado; but on the other hand, he urged the digidestined to "go back to the beginning," before he was infected with the virus in order to stop him. Why would he tell them that unless he was aware of what had happened to him, that something was wrong with him? More than that, I believe his actions show that, while driven by the virus to be destructive, sinister, and sociopathic, he was helpless to stop himself from doing evil and on some level, desired to free himself of its influence. It's all very bittersweet, as at this point the virus has so thoroughly warped and twisted him that it's impossible for him to return to the way he was and even then, his great power and cunning makes trying to purge him of the virus too dangerous. If such a thing were possible (perhaps with Seraphimon and Ophanimon's holy power), there's no guarantee that purifying him of the virus wouldn't destroy him. I've always wondered what Diaboromon would have been like if the virus never attacked him, but I guess we'll never know.
In a similar vein, there aren't any fanfictions where Diaboromon is saved like Kokomon was. With everything we know about his character, it's an idea that definitely has potential.

Hehe, it was awesome seeing the Twin's Mother dish out the tongue lashing.

After-the-fact thoughts

1st. I apologize. I intended to be finished sometime ago, but the pokemon craze happened and the "style". Well...I kinda needed a break. :P

2nd. I apologize for the lack of feedback. After a certain point I ramped my imagination up a couple notches and went along for the ride enjoying the concept.

3rd. Style vs Concept. Concept won again but I kinda want to take a red pen and make it better. XD

One last thing, I would have liked Gatomon to have had a moment to interact with Destiny and ask her about the future and prophecies, specifically whether she will ever see Wizardmon again (though the two are reunited in the xros wars manga). I always felt that Wizardmon's sacrifice should of (or did) effect Gatomon more than they allowed it to be shown in the show. He was, after all, her first and only friend when she worked for Myotismon, so she must have felt the loss hard.

Note, I do not suggest this in any sort of demanding way, I just think it would have been nice to see. Please, don't take this the wrong way . . . the last thing on my mind is offending you.

I also wanted to say that I loved your concepts for the villains. Apocalymon was a stroke of genius-and yes, I loved Kazu's insults at the digimon. He was spot on! And Diaboromon's new form was epic.

I also thoroughly enjoyed reading Beelzemon's hesitancy when he tells Jeri that Leomon shrunk. I can completely see him feeling responsible for anything that happens to either Leomon or Jeri, even if it's not his fault.

I would have loved to see Ragnarmon do something similar to Willis as the D-Reaper did to Jeri. . . . I think Impmon's reaction to that would have been hilarious to read.

Loved this story. But, I usually love your stories, so that really doesn't surprise me. You write the characters so well-they are in character, and their interactions seem like they could have appeared straight from the show.

Beelzemon was awesome. The chapter where he saved the twins and Mrs. Kamiya was just fantastic. And the instant where he tells Jeri to take his hand . . . I teared up. It was too moving.

Some of your ideas were genius . . . Calumon as Yamaki's partner; Rika being Kazu's voice of common sense, Behemoth's viewpoint. I was laughing so hard at Kazu. He's my least favourite Tamer, but I really enjoyed reading him.

I also loved seeing the original eight again. I also liked how you hinted at the romances. Though I prefer to think of Mimi falling for Joe (he had a crush on her in Digimon the Movie and Season 1), I liked the hint of her and Izzy liking each other. The Matt/Sora/Tai love triangle was also expertly dealt with.

Another fantastic aspect was the Ken and Impmon interaction. I would have loved to see it in the real shows . . .

Btw, did you know that Wizardmon from season 1 was brought back to meddle with time in the xros wars manga? Having read the manga, I was hoping that he would make a cameo, or be mentioned by Destiny as another player in the prophecy game.

I love your story so far! I read Destiny, and now I'm completely hooked onto Fate!
As for the predictions, if it has any point now that the story is finished... but, I can see that Mizutani is an original DigiDestined! Paired with something similar to Biyomon (maybe other colored one?)... Can't wait to see who the other DigiDestined are! :)

I always thought Ken and Impmon were similar:
1. both hurt people for their amusement and thirst for power when they were evil
2. they both regret what they did and were forgiven
3. they're always haunted by their past
4. they became evil because they were tricked

It's true I didn't remember apocalymon at all

So far this has been a really great story and a really good sequel to your other story. I only have two problems one of which popped up in this chapter.
1. Guilmon calling Takato Takatomon. I fell this is a problem, though very slight because if I remember correctly (it has been a while since I watched tamers), Guilmon was a bit more grown up at the end of the show, and stopped calling Takato that. Once again, it has been I while so if I am wrong, I am sorry.
2. The whole Diaboromon being connected to Willis. This at first may seam stupid of me till you know that the whole "diaboromon was half created by Willis" thing was an english addition, meant to connect and combine the original 3 Japanese movies into the first english one.
However once again this is still minor compared to how awesome your stories are. Seriously I am really enjoying everything, I really like the crests so far as they fit well with the characterization in the show. I hope I can do as good a job when I write the story I am planning to write.
