| BlackLadybug225 chapter 1 . 1/11/2018 When I read the first half of the first chapter, I had this thought that this story would be a total AU. Like, a complete high-school AU and had none of the Shinigami events from Bleach. As I read more, it dawned on me that it was a post-Aizen story. The way you started the story was amazing. I love how it began with Ulquiorra already was in love with Orihime, a difference from the usual Orihime-teaches-Ulquiorra-about-humans-and-feelings fics, which are great actually but have been quite common hihi. I absolutely LOVE your story. Thank you, sweetheart! |

It makes me happy to see amazing stories like this, where the characters are not OOC, the plotline is thick and charged with intense & believable emotions, and the romance is not some ridiculous, swift Mary Sue lustfest. I really really love how believable you made the romance. |

| Aynessa chapter 8 . 1/18/2015 WOW. I had started to give up hope that I would ever find a good UlquiHime that wasn't written by PrincessKitty1. Thank you for proving me wrong. This is fabulous. Charged with emotion, poignant and intense and with subtle undertones in every interaction. I love how they're all just a little broken, trying to pretend that everything is normal, but chafing under the strain of everything that has gone wrong with their "normal." I just love that Ulquiorra and Orihime finally let themselves give in to the pull drawing them closer. Though I'm dreading what this will mean for poor Ichigo, who will now have lost truly everything. |
