When Dean didn't agree to help Sam look for the Colt I felt like smacking him. I can understand his reasoning, to a point. 'Big Brother Dean' is still inside Dean, buried under a ton of hurt and anger but when Sam needs him the most, he's there to back Sam up.

Your explaination for why it has always been Sam is the best I've read to date. It works for me. :)

This was angsty, sarcastic, intense and loveable. You rounded up the ending very nicely too, i must say. The brothers really are better together.
