Rarely outside of a bolo has an AI been this innately honorable. Clearly hard-wiring honor and a reason for existence into the system is important when creating an AI.

In so doing, it appears that we can create a being that represents the best of us.

Goddamn, that's utterly heartbreaking, that in spite of crushing hopelessness, Nike continued to try to protect what little bit she could.

Damn it. This is giving me visions of BOLOs. Especially since she's now named Nike.

Really enjoying the story, but she better not do the heroic sacrifice that Honorable AIs are all too willing to do in a BOLO universe.

I can say, honestly, that whole plot is one big disappointment.

Great story, Great characters and overall just Great!

The loyalist Caspars should have just entered a state of dormancy and waited until some subconscious connection to inner sphere communications reported the return of the SLDF or a threat and such. Killing themselves makes no sense and guarantees they aren’t around when the SLDF returns and needs them.
