This is definitely the good kind of fluff! I love the reassurance they both get from the physical touch -especially when Elliot loses his sight- without many words needing to be spoken.

I do think, however, that Kathy would have stayed with Elliot all night. Still, this is a nice alternative.

Considering the news regarding L&O:CI and the season premiere episode for SVU, not to mention that the original series is headed by Sisto and Linus Roache is still on the show, fluff is more than just enjoyed. It was truly appreciated and needed.

I couldn't help but think of the song 'I want to hold your hand' by the Beatles as sung by T.V. Carpio from the movie Across the Universe.

'The touch of her hand was more comforting and more soothing than anything a doctor could give him in any syringe.' Well done. Those words conveyed a lot and it was very poetic.

As I said, with everything that has happened and everything that will happen, every bit of E/O fluff is good. E/O Forever!

P.S. I saw how Elliot was shielding Olivia from the risk of getting burned alive. I agree. They love each other so much that they would not think twice to shield each other from eminent dangers.
