Well. I may be completely too late to be looking for and commenting on BG&R fic, but I just finished re-watching the series and had to pop in to say that this story fits in with the timeline of events perfectly! Your characterization feels completely spot-on, and adds some great little details to fill in the gaps between those two episodes, AND illustrates one of those subtle-yet-lovely "family moments" between Rusty, Dwayne, and Erika that really captures what made this series great. As far as I'm concerned, this story is canon. Thank you so much for writing it!

A great little short story. You got both Dwayne and Rusty's mannerisms right not to mention filling in a bit of background that would have been a great addition to the animated series. An A job all around!

Great narrative, good interaction, you capture why I love the show in the first place. If you could manage a whole episodic plot with the voices you have in this you'd rule! Otherwise I dig it.

Wow that was soooo good! Very sweet story.

Even though it was short, it was all very very good. All the chars seemed spot on, and round feeling chars. I got the same feeling that I get when I watch the actual show. It feels like something that could of been shown after that episode but wasn't. I hope you write more fanfic for Big Guy and Rusty sometime. ]
