Why didn't the three ask about what Ryo was wearing? You know about his sub-armor or armor.

You have three different waters here: River, Lake, & Ocean. Since it's by Mia's house, it should be, lake. It doesn't make sense to say all three different waters in the same location.
And it's Rowen with an E not A.
It's not bad, but it's all over the place-meaning there's extra words that don't need to be there.

Good outline. Can't wait to find out what Ancient meant by "death is your gift". Interesting!
