Nice story :)

I did not think I would like a fic with mute!Dean but you won me over with your creative reimagining of the Winchesters origin story! I was as shocked as Dean with the reveal of Maggie's identity and loved the twist of 'the Voice' and it's connection to control over demons. The ending was brutal and yet gave some hope that maybe the boys would fare better in this universe, heaven knows they deserve it!

Ok, I love, love, love this story. It's a piece of exceptional writing, and I couldn't put it down. The ironic part is, I actually read this on May 2- Sam's birthday. Irony is a funny thing :)

This is a wonderful story! I love how you changed everything and at the same time remained perfectly true to the original plot and characters. The idea of mute Dean, John getting killed insted of his wife, the powers that the demon gave Mary, the boys being raised by their parents' friends while Mary looked for revenge - it was all so good it could have been wrtten by Kripke himself. I must admit I suspected that Mary was alive, but I was surprised when it turned out Dean was mute because of his mother's words and that he in fact could speak, that was a lovely and beautiful idea. I also liked the outsider point of view, not many writers use it and it's a very interesting thing to read.

I love, love, love this! Oh my goodness! Its a masterpiece! I love how you characterized Dean and, well, everyone! Such a lovely idea! Urg, I wish this was like a thousand times longer- I want it to continue! I love Dean being mute and his relationship with Bobby is so oddly amazing, I just... Wow. And then Sam and Dean- urg! How they just kind of know... The kid flash backs were great- I love how Sam found out things about his brother and Deans reactions to them- great job!

I really liked this story. You actually had me crying when sam confronted Mary in the bar about telling a four year old not to speak! This story definetely has me thinking that I should read your other stories!
