This is just hilarious. I have this image in my head of little Jimmy doing an interpretive dance that looks rather like he's immitating a fish (and why he looks like a young Dean Winchester, I don't know).

Ah, the joys of school supplies lists. I had a teacher in senior infants who gave me absolute hell over bringing the wrong colouring pencils in, getting the wrong copies (even though the only difference between the ones I got and the ones she wanted was the covers), I had an older version of the maths book that had all the same questions but pound signs instead of euro signs, etc, etc... I love the "school words" thing, that made me laugh! Great story, but I couldn't get the link to come up.

Hmmm, I wonder how Admiral Pike and others in Star Fleet would react to this particular teacher. I think Mrs. Kirk was nicer than most in Star Fleet would have been (especially if the letter had been from Admiral Pike-George Kirk's best friend-and other important officials). I also wonder what this teacher thought when James "Jimmy" Tiberius Kirk grew up to be James "Jim" Tiberius Kirk Captain of the Enterprise, One of Starfleet's Finest, and Earth's Hero.

I'm seeing several possibilities in ways that this story could be continued (either by chapters or by sequels and/or companion fic/stories.

So to sum this review/feedback up, well done; very well done.

Awsome writing! I love how she makes the teacher's life hell even from space, even if it is though her son. That teacher had to be a bit of a bitch anyway, if she insisted on the 12 pack when he already had the 24.
