Interesting story! I was wondering if Mark F Williamsons existed or notbut the end gives it away!
I think it was a clever way of writing your storieswith the quotation from the original Mark W at the beginning.
The story follows the main scenes or steps of canon though in different set-ups or context to fit with the modern times.
There is little angst.

Such a wonderful story! I think I just read it for the third (or maybe fourth) time. Funny enough I am currently in Ann Arbor visiting with my sister and waiting for her son to be born. It's such a great feeling being in a town where the story is taking place, makes it more emersive somehow

Charles BINGLEY not bennet

This is interesting enough so far but also very distracting bc of all the mistakes. Multiple times you used interchangeably the characters’ Austen names instead of yours (Mark F. Williamson turned into mark fitzwilliam, Kevin Bingham was called Charles, etc). Also knightley is from Emma not sense and sensibility.

I’m not sure about your characterization of Elizabeth/Betsy either. She’s self deprecating/complaining in a way that is less light hearted / humorous / satirical (?) than the real Elizabeth. Also her constant admissions about being a “free spirit” and “eccentric” are strange bc it’s like she’s trying too hard.

Anyway I’ll keep reading but so far it’s a little confusing but also overly simplistic.
