Reviews for The Resilient
Aditi Gupta chapter 1 . 4/26
I've re-read this so many times over the years since I was 15 and it feels as if I develop a new understanding each time I've read this. Both 'Aversion' and 'The Resilient' are pieces of art with so much depth and character growth, forgiveness and love. Thank you dear author for creating them!

Wow. Draco is a jerk. Chapter 25 was an eye opener for sure. Hermione better not get with him at all.

You are a jewel among jewels. You are so good with your writings, especially in TR. Your writings changed to be better and better in this and the story telling, the anguish, slow burns, are too much sometimes but those are more the reason why i couldnt stop reading these two stories. I love it. It is so gripping, i can feel hermione’s pain, i can feel draco’s sorrow, i can understand why you make the stories like this, altho there is always a chance to make it more straightforward. And damn you’re so good in making sure us the readers to follow your story until the end. You made us wait, you made us questions your storyline, but you delivered the Answers in the best and intricate ways possible. Thank you. Thank you so much for writing this. I might not be able to re-read these two stories, as it is too emotional for me, but i am so glad i had the change to read it. Thank you again. Do not stop writing.

Wow cannot believe she was imprisoned for two years. So mad at Draco right now
Guest chapter 14 . 5/27/2018
Unbelievable, he makes her cook for him after everything he’s done to her? As if it’s not enough? Because he want her to? Well, screw him! I’d Give Hermione a load of advice: put rat poison in his food. Kill him. Make poly juice potion and start killing every death eater as “Draco”. Then kill Voldemort slowly and intimately as possible. There you Hermione. Easy peazy.
IrisDawnDancer chapter 12 . 5/27/2018
Hermione shouldn’t even speak to Draco, after everything he’s done to her. Kill him with silence, as the saying goes. If I was Hermione, I wouldn’t give him the time to if day. He’s done to much damage for Hermione to even hold a conversation, let alone be in her presence. She’s giving him a free pass, I feel.

I have to agree with people saying the character development between the stories is too dark and depressing. I really liked Aversion so I read this. There was too much death and too much forgiveness on Hermione’s part. I understand Draco did what he thought he needed to do to survive, but I think if Draco bought her at the auction at Azkaban and taught her all those skills and kept her safe, it would have been easier for her to forgive him. After everything he put Hermione through, I don’t see her being able to forgive him, let alone love him. Your writing is so beautiful and I hope you continue writing Dramione pieces. For me, this piece was a bit too dark.
Guest chapter 27 . 1/30/2018
I really liked Aversion to Change, and could accept Draco s betrayal, but The Resilient just made me annoyed. OK, Draco loves Hermione, and he was scared, but why did he have to let so many bad things happen before taking ANY positive action. Then, for me, (though again, I understand that Hermione went through a lot, and Draco was her only comfort in that) I can't grasp how Hermione seemed to acept everything that happened to her, and Draco s actions. OK, she did try to kill herself, and she did leave for four years . . . I don't know, I'm all about the Dramione, and can often accept Dark Draco when he changes, or when it fits with the author s characterisation of Hermione, but this didn't work for me.
