It is such a great story. It is scary, it is so painful... I am at loss for words.

You did a very good work. Even though this story is gloomy, it has some strange charm in it.

Holy. Shit. It's 3:35 in the morning and I was DETERMINED to finish this before going to bed and now I don't know if I'll be getting any sleep. It was absolutely wonderfully written. I've always believed in character death/sacrifice to hone and push the story along, and although my heart was breaking into a million fragmented pieces- this was amazing. Thank you.

This was really... disturbing. Where did you get this idea? Ive been having nightmares for days about Macavity going mad, Tugger withering, Munk the zombie, and Misto having seizuers

i almost cried. i had tears in my eyes. as i read the last sentence of chapter 4, my chest got so tight in anticipation and just fear for what WOULD happen to misto. really great story!

That was one of the best things I have ever read. I was sitting with my computer on my lap, in utter horror. I think at one point I actually started crying. It takes true talent to be able to right about cannibalism and plague and make it worth reading. Superb.

Oh, that was just deliciously creepy, if that makes sense. It takes skill to write something as horrifying yet still amazing as this. Loved it.

Thank you, on all counts. Disturbing and horrifying was what i was going for. And i appreciate your reviews. It is a bit strange for the whole suicide spoon thing, I'll admit, but i (for some reason unbeknownst to me) pictured the spoon as larger than normal (it looks like a ladle in the movie) and Bustopher had turned it into a shiv for hunting, so... but it is funny.

And i'm not the first story to do the Tugger/Jesus juxtapose. Just thought the idea was interesting.

And i had a problem with the whole Munkus sitch. Took me two weeks to figure out how to turn him into the horror he became.

Oh good, he's still alive! Not for long I guess, but still, that's a first.

Well. I feel... hm. Dirty. Yes, this fic makes me feel dirty, and not so much in the good sense. I thought it was good, really good, but gah it was so much blood and crap. Eek. Gives me the heebie-jeebies.

What the ef? Munkustrap! Gahh...

At first I was like, oh shit, he's a bitch! ...DAMNIT! Seriously, one of the best characters in the whole musical (or at least noblest and stuff) became a crazy abusive freak show. I thought that was a little random initially, as well as another relatively common thing in fics. Make Tugger the messiah, make Munk a bitch, give no reason for either.

But this did have a reason, a really interesting one. His magic manifested his subconscious guilt in his actions. Really friggin' cool, er, if terrible.

I really didn't think you could pull it off, I thought you topped yourself in the last chapter as far as complete and total DEVASTATION goes. But no, this chapter was indeed almost WORSE than the last! Unbelievable

I do like how it was magic that made Munkustrap abusive as well as his experiences, just because that way it's a good symbol of how actual abusive behavior forms without throwing the real deal in there with one of the least likely persons to become that way.

SO. Goody goody, I get to see how Misto flips out now. Wonder why he hasn't already... what could be NEXT?

Holy shit. -scratches head- ...And this is a CATS fic?

Lol, yea, this is, um, intense... never quite run into a CATS fic as dark and gory as this one.

It's really well-written and an interesting story, freaky as hell though it is. I really do get very distracted just by the fact that it's CATS, though. So weird...

And maybe this is mean, but I can't help but snicker at the idea of Tugger compared to Jesus. ...Okay, yea, I think I'm kind of justified in that reaction. It's done very plausibly, at the very least as plausibly as possible. A lot of writers make him all serious and a matyr/hero or whatnot completely out of nowhere. At least you addressed his playboy attitude and acknowledged the change in him from the way he usually is to the way he became. Most people don't... and it's ludicrous.

I like the description of the Jellicles changing to humanoid form, and the war in the first chapter. I'm a little scared to continue after this dreadful chapter (dreadful as in terrifying, not bad!). I feel like, so, what NOW? What can possibly happen that's worse than all this? Do I even want to know?

Oh, and also may I just note that people committing suicide with a spoon... a f*cking SPOON... is kind of hilarious. Okay, that's terrible to say. I guess it would be big for a cat, and if jabbed hard enough it could do it... but it ought to be pretty ineffective, oughtn't it? The shape really makes it difficult to be precise. Maybe they wouldn't need to be, but any errors and it could take quite a while to die. I just can't get over that one. BJ's spoon has become an instrument of death... nah, it's not happenin' for me. XP

STILL! Good story, good story. Just insane. O_o

Wow. I am honestly not sure how to respond to this one. It's...unique. I mean that in a good way. I began to recognize the "four Horsemen" after the second chapter. What you've done here is create a rather unique problem, one I haven't seen before. You usually see one or two of the brothers (usually not including Misto) fall into the darkness, but to have all four...you did a good job with this one, it was an intriguing idea.

This is undoubtedly the most disturbing fanfic I have ever read.

That said, it is also very well written. I like it, though, it does make me feel slightly ill.

I don't know what else to say, just... good fic. Disturbing, but good.

I have read it now to the end - and I am crying.

So much emotions, so much pain and hopelessness.

I really love the characters of the musical and often people write of them in a light way.

You wrote a possibility how fate and life can be. And it is dark.

But your story was written very well and one can feel everything they felt. So, I liked it even if it made me cry!
