This is my second-favorite in your "Unexpected" series.

The thing that stands out about your "Doctor Who" stories, and this one in particular, is the way you characterize the Doctor. You truly convey that he's a Time Lord, with deeper concerns and a complexity of mind that humans just can't understand.

I thought your conception of a traditional Time Lord burial was fitting and beautiful.
