i love this. there's so much emotion in the story. you can feel natsume's fear for mikan's loss and there's a sense of melancholy for the inevitable. i hope you do turn this into a larger fic so i can read more about the story.

There's so many question I'd like to ask. Did Mikan remember who he was? I assume he did. Then... amnesiac? Hm...

Why fake priest? Was she about to die and there was no time to set up a real wedding? From what I've read, Natsume wanted her, so there was no way he wouldn't want to marry her for real. Then why the fake wedding?

This looked like just a piece of a bigger story, and I have no idea the story behind Mikan's illness, the 'amnesiac' theme when nobody forget anyone and why the somber mood when both are still alive. Maybe Mikan was about to die, but I can't find a reference to that.

The words are beautiful and the sentences felt just right, but the story behind it... Why this and why that?

Reading from your A/N ending, maybe you think the story will be too big if typed together, but I personally thought it would be fabulous if you put the whole background story too.
