i know this is old and i’m not sure if you’ll see this, but if you do, i just want you to know that over the years i have kept coming back to this fic — i love it now as much as i did back when i first found it as a kid who had just watched ouran (and now as a university student myself there’s a new kind of relatability with the characters in this fic, haha).

i LOVE this story. i adore this story! it’s my favourite piece of ouran writing, hands down. when i read it, i forget i’m reading a story... it’s so good, it feels like i’m a part of that world. when i think about this fic, it’s like the feeling of recalling a memory or a good dream, in a nostalgic sort of way? the way you write is so clear and so effective and sets scenes and atmospheres so well.

and your characterisations! they’re so perfect, especially renge. i love that she’s still savvy and smart and spirited, but you can tell she’s matured a lot from her high school days. (also, i’m really into fashion, so i really appreciate all the descriptions you give of her outfits, haha)

the relationship between her and kyouya is so well done too! every time i re-read this fic i know what will happen but my heart squeezes for them every time... really, really fun and touching interactions between the two of them! love the little moments with the host club looking out for renge, too. this entire fic is like a classic rom-com or an asian drama (i mean that as a compliment), hitting all the story/emotional beats i crave... god, it’s so good. this isn’t really a review as much as it is a collection of stray thoughts lol i just... really love this fic. i’ve changed a lot these past seven years but the position this fic in my heart has remained steadfast. thank you SO much OP for this good fucking food. i honestly feel like i owe you money or something for writing this fic

Ok, I shouldn't write so many reviews on the same chapter but I LOVE the way you write - its really good. I am loving this couple so much more just purely based on the way you portray them. I love the slightly sexual moments you give them: nothing extreme, just subtlety. Its SO HAWTTT I love it! The inner romance in me is screaming!
