You do quite a lovely job with these two. Usually I find myself thinking characters are a bit out of character, but with your story you kept them very true. You never let it get lovey dovey over the top. It was just very blunt and real. I loved reading this, for most fanfictions involving Patrick, people seem to write him like this love struck guy who's really just all muschy gooshy inside, but you do him such justice. Fantastic Job! :)

I think you write them perfectly. Kat's not overly guarded and neither is Patrick. They still are, in the right ways, though. And the mixture of everything, their personalities in here and their dialog and your writing makes it the most enjoyable.
