So, I still can't decide: who's the worst president? Trump/Pence or Ganondorf?

Anyway, I was excited to get an email about this fan-fiction (both times)! It's been too long! (Could also say the same about my own neglected fan-fictions...)

Oh, hey, I remember this fanfic from back in the day. I thought the premise had a lot of promise.

Perhaps this is just me, but I think some of your paragraphs can be trimmed down a bit. They can get a bit into the huge side of things. Second, just as some food for thought, but reading this, I always felt like the story was missing something. Have you considered writing this in present tense instead of past? I tend to find that present tense works better when using first person, and the immediacy helps with suspense.

Aside from that, all I can say is hang in there! It can be hard to get back into the swing of these, especially when you've had to set something aside for a few years.

Too lazy to log in but I was so surprised to see this pop up in my alerts! Welcome back!

Honestly, I am very impressed. I rarely see fan fictions written to this caliber, but when I do I get excited. I see a few miss types here and there, but otherwise, the story is convincing, well written and leaves me both shaking in anticipation for the next part and fear of something like this actually happening in our world. I can't wait for the next chapter to come.

Minor note deary: It seems you have encountered a mistake in this Roman Numeral heading. This is true of several chapters, and I wonder if there is a reason for it. Keep writing, I have found this to my delight. I eagerly await the next installment.

I have three questions about this chapter:

How come there seems to be POV shift problems such as when Chelsea arrived at the first house?

I am also confused who drove the truck in reverse: was it Sam or was it the (Mr and Mrs) as you put it? and how far was the truck driven from Swanze?

Did you know it does not get to -47F unless your up in Alaska? Now Windchill it probably does that a few times during unusually cold winters.

One more thing and I am done.

When the Nazi's started taking freedom after freedom away those who had wisdom and guts to see it ahead of time either escaped themselves to a neutral country or helped others escape in amazing feats like *The Great Escape* (which is a very cool as well as an informative movie).

In The Great Escape these POW's who crashed their airplanes were put in a supposed *escape proof camp* because people were escaping all the time and the people in charge were tired of it but it's amazing how everybody worked together combining their skills to escape.

Not everyone made it but a good chunk did which the prospect of escape gave them hope to make it thru the work camp.

Also as a *snow geek* I am curious as to how much snow it takes to have a *snow day* up there and to shut down the towns/cities up there?

What weather patterns bring the *big ones*? Noreasters or is the area of your story too close to the coast for Noreasters to bring the snow part?

I live in Western Oregon and it only takes an inch where I live because quite a few people live up in higher hills at/over 1,000 feet and the roads can be very slick where down here it's not so bad.

An inch of snow down here can easily translate to half a foot up there.

Wait, so is their last destination Hyrule?
